·         You will be met by your Tour Leader on arrival and transferred  to your hotel (On the way first acquaintance with the town)

·         Departure to Kavala (The biblical port city of Neapolis , originally Christoupolis, now known as Kavala where St. Paul first set foot in Europe)

·         Visit the mountain Peninsula (UNESCO world heritage), the holiest place in Modern Greece: Mount Athos.

·         Guided cruise of the epicenter of Eastern Christian Orthodox Monasticism

·         Spending the morning cruising the very same pristine Aegean waters that Paul, Silas and Luke passed through on their long journey from Troy.

·         After lunch we continue to Kavala, where , in 45 AD, Paul docked and began his mission

·         Visit the atmospheric old town with its famous aqueduct, Byzantine castle and neoclassical mansions

·         Departure to the hotel at Kavala, dinner & 2^nd overnight

Saturday

·         Departure to Philippi, where St. Paul preached his first sermon and baptized the first Christians on European soil

·         Visit the monumental ruins, including the site where Lydia was baptized and where St. Paul was imprisoned

·         Visit the Acropolis, the theater and the remains of the first Christian Basilica established in Europe

·         Visit Ancient Amphipolis

·         Return to the hotel at Thessaloniki, dinner & 3^rd overnight

Sunday

·         Visit the Arch of Galerius built over the Roman Via Egnatia, to the neighboring Rotunda (St. George) and through the ruins of the Ancient Agora

·         Visit the beautiful Churches St. Demetrius & St. Sophia

·         Departure to Veria where we will see the site where the saint preached

·         Visit Vergina where we’ll see the burial site of the Kings of Macedon, including the tomb of Philip 2^nd , father of Alexander the Great

·         Departure to Kalambaka, home of the breathtaking Meteora Monasteries

·         Arrival at the hotel at Kalambaka, dinner & 4^th overnight

Monday

·         Departure to Meteora (which means “Suspended in the heavens above”)

·         Climb above the charming mountain villages of Kastraki and Kalambaka to visit two of the six surviving Monasteries of Meteora (UNESCO, world heritage site) , one of the most important complexes of Eastern Orthodox monasteries in the world

·         We will see how the monks live today and enter some of the most captivating Byzantine basilicas in Greece

·         Departure to Athens

·         Arrival at the hotel in Athens, dinner & 5^th overnight

Tuesday

·         Visit Acropolis, while our guide uncovers the stories behind the Temple of Athena Nike, the Erectheum, the Propylae and perhaps the most perfect piece of architecture ever built, the majestic Parthenon

·         Afterward we’ll ascend the Areopagus, Mars Hill, where Paul spoke to the Athenians  who are gathered in the Ancient Agora below.

·         Visit the Panathenaic Stadium, the Temble of Zeus and Hadrian’s Arch

·         Visit the National Gardens, the Parliament and the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Syntagma Square, the University of Athens and finally the National Library

·         Take a walk through the enchanting Plaka and pass by some of the city’s most precious Byzantine Churches

·         Free time to Athens

·         Dinner at the hotel & 6^th overnight

Thursday

16/05/2018

·         Departure to Corinth where Paul lived, worked as a tent maker and taught the word of God for 18 months

·         Visit the ruins of the ancient city, walking along the same paths , while our guide reveals the ruins of the 6^th century BC Temple of Apollo, th fountain of Peirene, the Agora where Paul’s trial by Gallio took place and where the famous Paul’s Stand is situated

·         We will pass by the Ancient port of Kechries, where Paul departed from for Ephesus and later on we’ll marvel at the engineering feat of the Corinth Canal, designed in Paul’s time, but finally realized in the late 1890s

·         Return to the hotel in Athens, dinner & 7^th overnight

·         Departure to the airport “Eleftherios Venizelos” of Athens

·         Flight to Abuja
